Blaine (Darren Criss) – Fighter Music Video

Blaine has some of the best songs on Glee and Fighter is one of my favorites.

Makes me that much stronger
Makes me work a little bit harder
It makes me that much wiser
So thanks for making me a fighter
Made me learn a little bit faster
Made my skin a little bit thicker
Makes me that much smarter
So thanks for making me a fighter

Glee is #20 on Billboard Music’s Top Money Makers List

#28 – “Glee” Cast – $8,830,710

As much a music success story as a TV one, “Glee” makes an impressive debut on the Money Makers list thanks to the fact that fans don’t just tune in to the Fox program, but actively seek out what they heard on it afterward. Digital track sales of songs reinterpreted by the show’s cast added up to 12.9 million copies, while sales of its various soundtrack albums totaled 3.6 million. As its debut season came to a close last May, the show’s cast hit the road for a string of tour dates that grossed $5 million.

Glees Original Songs ‘Loser Like Me’ & ‘Get It Right’ Debuted

Glee is finally getting into where the real money is, original music!

Glee’s two songs ‘Loser Like Me’ and ‘Get It Right’ have already been playing on the internet and AOL radio and will be aired on the March 15th episode.

You can also get the songs in iTunes if you want them for yourself.

‘Loser Like Me’ is an ‘uptempo, kind-of-summery hit’ with Rachel and Finn on the lead, while ‘Get It Right’ is a ballad track with Rachel on solo.

What do you think the chances are we’ll be hearing these on mainstream radio? Pretty good if you ask me.

Glee Breaks Elvis Presley Billboard Record

Glee

Elvis Presley has been dethroned by the cast of ‘Glee.’

With 113 hit tunes to Presley’s 108, the the hit Fox show now officially has the most singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

According to Billboard, the six new tunes on Thursday’s chart bring the ‘Glee’ gang above the King, as well as other musical luminaries like James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and The Beatles. The first ‘Glee’ entry on the chart came less than two years ago when ‘Don’t Stop Believin” landed at number 4 in June 2009.

The only modern acts to come close to ‘Glee”s record are Lil Wayne and Jay-Z, who have 67 and 62 entries, respectively.

Chances are, Glee will continue to leave all other musical acts in the dust for years to come.
